	Goal is 530 Walkers raising more than $53,000


	The 30th Muskegon CROP Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, October 4, beginning at the Central (or is it First?) United Methodist Church in Downtown Muskegon. Registration begins at 1:00pm, with a gathering at 1:45 and the Walk starting at 2:00pm. Our goals this year are to have 53 groups and organizations participating with 530.

Walkers, raising $53,000. With our 30th annual CROP Hunger Walk, this will represent 3 new groups, 30 more walkers, and 3,000 more dollars raised. We also have an incentive this year from a donor who will give $100 for every new walker we have above last years total up to $5,000. The Recruiters Orientation Meeting will take place on Thursday, August 20 at 6:53 pm at Central United Methodist Church. All churches, groups and organizations are welcome and encouraged to join us to be equipped, resourced and energized to recruit walkers for this year's Walk. Recruiter packets will be shared and all will receive Walker envelopes as we prepare to celebrate Muskegon's long history and commitment to reaching out to those who are hungry and thirsty!
