What is a CROP Hunger Walk?

The Muskegon Area CROP Hunger Walk takes place on the first Sunday of October each year. This year it will be October 3, 2010. The Muskegon Area CROP Hunger Walk begins at Central United Methodist Church, 1011 Second Street in downtown Muskegon. It will end at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1006 Third Street a couple of blocks away. In between, Walkers can choose 3, 7, or 10 Mile Walk Routes to raise pledged funds to help combat hunger in Muskegon and around the world.

	This year, the Muskegon Area CROP Hunger Walk goals for 2010 are to raise $50,000 from 500 Walkers, from 55 congregations or groups. Churches, service groups, and businesses can strat a CORP Walk team! Join us today!


	Incentive Challenge: A generous donor will give a gift of $1 for every $2 we raise over last year's total of $46,000. If we reach our goal, our contributor will give $2,000 to the Walk. Sign up, ask and help us reach our goal!

	Registration begins at 1 PM Sunday, October 3; the Walk starts at 2 PM.
